30. If 가정법 - part 1 (일반적인 사실 / 현재 사실 표현)

정리) 

1. 일반적인 사실에 대한 if 조건절
Ex) If he doesn't say anything, that means he's upset

 

2. 현재의 사실에 대한 if 조건절
Ex) I live far from school (현재 상황) , so it takes a lot of time to go to school in the morning
→  내가 학교에서 좀 더 가까이 살았으면, 시간을 아꼈을텐데..
→  If I lived closer to school, I could(would be able to) save more time

Ex) I go to work 6 times a week. So it's hard to make plans on weekends.
→ If I went to work just 5 days(times) a week, I would be able to do more things on weekends

 

예문)

(1) 그가 아무 얘기도 안하면, 그가 화가 났단 얘기야
(2) 냄새가 안좋으면, 아마 먹기에 안전하지 않은거야
(3) 사람이 너무 많으면, 다른데 가는게 더 좋아
(4) 지하철 타면 더 빨라
(5) 5시 전에 출발하면 차가 별로 안막혀
(6) 나는 학교에서 멀리 살아, 그래서 아침에 학교가는데 오래걸려
→ 내가 학교에서 좀 더 가까이 살았으면, 시간을 아꼈을텐데..
(7) 일주일에 6번이나 일해. 그래서 주말에 약속잡기가 어려워
→ 내가 일주일에 다섯번만 출근 했다면, 주말에 더 많은걸 할 수 있었을거야.
(8) 나는 외장하드가 있어, 그래서 내가 어딜 가든 음악과 영화를 가지고 다닐 수 있어
→ 그치만 내가 외장하드가 없었다면, 그러지 못할거야.
(9)  나는 살이 잘 찌는 편이에요. 그래서 먹는거를 조심해야해요
→ 그치만 내가 이렇게 살이 잘 찌는 편이 아니면, 내가 먹는거에 대해서 이렇게 조심할 필요 없었을거야.
